Milli q integral 10

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in Germany

The Milli-Q Integral 10 is a water purification system designed to produce ultrapure water for laboratory applications. It utilizes a multi-stage purification process to remove impurities and deliver high-quality water with low levels of total organic carbon, ions, and bacteria.

HDPE Waste Pretreatment and Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Two post-consumer HDPE packages were used in this work, one blue and one orange. Before the pretreatment, the lids, labels, and glue were removed from packages, and they were washed with detergent and water to remove surface impurities, and then dried. Next, the packages were cut into small pieces approximately of 0.5 × 0.5 cm.
The chemical compounds used in this work are summarized in Table 3. The water used in this work was ultrapure water, distilled twice, passed through a reverse osmosis system and treated with a Milli-Q Integral 10 (Merck, Darmstadt, Germany) water purification device.

Structural Properties of Rice Varying in Amylose Content

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Rice samples varying in amylose content were used. High-amylose rice cultivars #1 and #2 (HA1 and HA2, respectively) were grown at the Central Region Agriculture Research Center, NARO (Niigata, Japan). Momiroman (Momi) was obtained from a local farmer. Other rice cultivars and varieties, Yumetoiro (Yume), Koshihikari (Kosh), Milky Queen (Milk), Koganemochi (Koga), Basmati Rice (Basm), and Jasmine Rice (Jasm) were purchased at local markets. Isoamylase from Pseudomonas sp. was purchased from Megazyme International Ireland Ltd. (Wicklow, Ireland). All other reagent grade chemicals were purchased from Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. (Osaka, Japan). Purified water (produced with a Milli-Q Integral/10, Merck-Millipore Ltd., Burlington, MA, USA) was used in all experiments.
Structural properties of the rice were characterized as follows: apparent amylose content was determined by iodine colorimetry, 12) amylose content by Concanavalin A (ConA) precipitation method using an amylose/amylopectin assay kit (Megazyme International Ireland), chain length distribution of amylopectin by high-performance anion exchange chromatography on a CarboPac PA-1 column equipped with a pulsed amperometric detector (HPAEC-PAD, Thermo Scientific Inc., Waltham, MA, USA) according to Nagamine and Komae (1996). 13)

Synthetic Amyloid-Beta Peptide Quantification

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Synthetic human Aβ1-38, Aβ1-40, Aβ1-42, and Aβ1-43 were purchased from the Peptide Institute (Osaka, Japan). Uniformly stable isotope-labeled peptides manufactured by rPeptide (Watkinsville, GA, USA), corresponding to each peptide (Aβ1-38, Aβ1-40, Aβ1-42, and Aβ1-43), were used as internal standards (ISs). Artificial CSF was purchased from Tocris Bioscience (Bristol, UK), and rat plasma was purchased from Charles River Laboratories Japan (Yokohama, Japan). Other materials and reagents were purchased from Kanto Chemical (Tokyo, Japan), Kokusan Chemical (Tokyo, Japan), and Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Ultrapure water was prepared using Milli-Q Integral 10 (Merck, Darmstadt, Germany).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
