Serum Metabolic Profile Analysis

Blood was allowed to coagulate for 20 min on ice followed by centrifugation at 2,500 g for 15 min at 4°C to obtain serum. Serum triglyceride, glucose (Accurex Biomedical Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, India), and free fatty acids (FFA) were estimated by colorimetric assay.
