Tempol, apocynin, db-cAMP, SQ22536, vigabatrin, gabazine, yohimbine and clonidine were obtained from MedChemExpress (Monmouth Junction, NJ, USA). LPS, CGP35348, DEX and DETC were purchased from Sigma (St Louis, MO, USA). Rp-cAMP was purchased from Beyotime (Shanghai, China). apocynin and CGP35348 were dissolved in PBS containing 1% DMSO and the vehicle was used as a control. Other chemicals were dissolved in PBS. PBS was used as a control.

We purchased lidocaine, dexmedetomidine, prazosin, yohimbine, and forskolin from MedChemExpress (Shanghai, China) and ZD7288 from Sigma‒Aldrich (Shanghai, China). lidocaine hydrochloride 2% (w/v) was prepared in 0.9% NaCl solution. Dexmedetomidine hydrochloride was diluted in 2% lidocaine solution to final concentrations of 6.8, 13.6, and 20.4 μM (approximately 3, 6, and 9 μg/kg). The α1 antagonist prazosin (1.3 mM, ~1 mg/kg) and α2 antagonist yohimbine (1.6 mM, ~1 mg/kg) were prepared in lidocaine. The HCN inhibitor ZD7288 (2.2 mM, ~1.14 mg/kg) and HCN activator forskolin (153.6 μM, ~110.9 μg/kg) were dissolved in 1% DMSO saline and then diluted in 2% lidocaine. All drug solutions were freshly prepared before the experiments.12 (link)

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
