Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride was obtained from Hangzhou Dayang Chem. Co., Ltd. Stock cultures of Bacillus subtilis were obtained from the Pharmaceutical Microbiology Unit of Department of Pharmaceutics, UNN. Distilled water was used throughout the study.
