Sybr green real time quantitative rt pcr reagent

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Sourced in United States

The SYBR Green real-time quantitative RT-PCR reagent is a fluorescent dye-based solution used for the detection and quantification of RNA molecules through reverse transcription and real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) techniques. The reagent binds to double-stranded DNA, emitting a fluorescent signal that is proportional to the amount of DNA present, enabling the measurement and analysis of gene expression levels.

RNA Extraction and qRT-PCR Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Total RNA was isolated from mouse tissues and cultured cells using Ambion’s TRizol reagent. cD-NAs were synthesized from 1 μg of total RNA using M-MLV reverse transcriptase (BIONEER, Oakland, CA, USA) and random primers (Promega, Madison, WI, USA). Synthesized cDNAs were amplified for PCR using SYBR Green real-time quantitative RT-PCR reagent (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA, USA). The primers are listed in Supplementary Table A.2. To amplify cDNA a Step-One Real-time PCR system (Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA, USA) was used.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
