Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate

1×TBE buffer: tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (Tris, 89 mM), chloroauric acid (HAuCl₄), disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic (EDTA, 2 mM), polyethylene glycol (PEG, Mw = 5,000), bis(p-sulfonateophenyl)phenylphosphine dihydrate dipotassium (BSPP), sodium dihydrogen phosphate (NaH₂PO₄.2H₂O), disodium phosphate dodecahydrate (Na₂HPO₄.12H₂O), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), dithiothretol (DTT) and sodium borohydride (NaBH₄) were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich (USA). Sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS), sodium citrate (Na₃C₆H₅O₇), sodium chloride (NaCl) were analytical grade reagent from Guangdong Guanghua Chemical Reagent Co. (China). DNA oligonucleotides were synthesized by Sangon Biotech. Co. (China). Fetal calf serum (FCS), 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI), renal tubular epithelial cells and 0.05% trypsin from American Type Culture Collection. N-acetylation chitosan (NACS) was prepared according to the previous method in our group^{43 (link)}. All the reagents were used as received without further purification. Milli-Q water (>18.0 MΩ cm) was used to prepare all aqueous solutions.

Oleic acid-capped quantum dots (QDs-OA) with alloyed (CdSe_xS_1-x) core and ZnS shell (CdSeS/ZnS), nanocrystal diameter = 6.0 nm, λ_em = 630 nm, 1 mg/mL in toluene were purchased from Cytodiagnostics Inc. (Burlington, Canada). Glutathione in reduced form (GSH) was from Acros Organics (Geel, Belgium). Tetramethylammonium hydroxide pentahydrate (TMAH) was from Alfa Aesar (Kandel, Germany). Chloroform, anhydrous ethanol, and phosphoric acid (85%) were obtained from Chempur (Piekary Śląskie, Poland). Dialysis tubing cellulose membrane (MWCO = 12 kDa), dopamine hydrochloride, L-epinephrine, L-norepinephrine, serotonin hydrochloride, γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), acetylcholine chloride, sodium phosphate monohydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, and sodium hydroxide were supplied by Sigma-Merck (Poznań, Poland). Milli-Q water was used for preparation of all aqueous solutions. All chemicals were used as received.
