Acrylamide (AM) and ammonium persulfate (APS), with an analytical purity, were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent. N,N′-Methylene acrylamide (MBA) was brought from Energy Chemical and had a purity of 99%. A class P·II 52.5 Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) was provided by Jiangnan-Xiaoyetian Co, Ltd and its chemical and mineral compositions are listed in Table 1, which were determined by X-ray fluorescence and X-ray diffraction respectively. Cesium chloride (99.9% metals basis, Aladdin), methyl orange (IND, Nanjing Chemical Reagent), sodium hydroxide (Analytical reagent, Sinopharm Chemical Reagent) and sulfuric acid (Analytical reagent, Shanghai Lingfeng Chemical Reagent) were selected to prepare wastewater forms. Deionized water was used in this study.

and other reagents and solvents were purchased from commercial sources.

Synthesis of FeS@nZVI-rGO Composite

(Shanghai, China): graphite power, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate (FeSO4•7H2O, 99.5%), sodium hydroxide (NaOH, 99.5%), sodium borohydride (NaBH4, 98.0%), sodium dithionite (Na2S2O4, 99.5%), trichloroethene (TCE, 99.0%), sodium persulfate (SPS, 98.0%) and potassium monopersulfate triple salt (PMS, ≥ 47.0% KHSO5 basis, KHSO5•0.5KHSO4•0.5K2SO4). The following reagents were purchased from Shanghai Lingfeng Chemical Reagent Co. Ltd. (Shanghai, China): tertiary butyl alcohol ((CH3)3COH, TBA, 99%), isopropanol ((CH3)2CHOH, IPA, 99.7%), chloroform (CHCl3, CF, 99%), sulfuric acid (H2SO4, 99%), hydrochloric acid (HCl, 37%), permanganate (KMnO4) and n-hexane (C6H14, 97%). Ethanol (CH3CH2OH, 99.7%) was purchased from Shanghai Titan Scientific Co. Ltd. (Shanghai, China). The aqueous solution (ultrapure water) used in all experiments was prepared through Milli-Q water process (Classic DI, ELGA, Marlow, UK).
