Antioxidant and Polyphenol Extraction

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
During sample preparation of antioxidant and polyphenol determination, 10 g of each sample (fermented mash and pomace) into a 250 mL Erlenmeyer flask and diluted with 15 mL of high-purity water (ZeneerPower 1, Human Corporations, Korea), 35 mL methanol and 0.05 mL hydrogen chloride (Merck) was measured, then stored for 1 h on a rotary shaker (Elphan 358S, Bohemia) for extraction at room temperature (24 °C). After storing, the samples were centrifuged at 3500 g for 20 min. Measurements were then continued with the centrifuged supernatant. In the case of wine, centrifugation without extraction was the sample preparation method.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
