Ssp 25 cells

Manufactured by RIKEN BioResource Center
Sourced in Japan

The SSP-25 cells are a type of cell line developed and maintained at the RIKEN BioResource Center. They are derived from mouse embryonic stem cells and are designed for use in various research applications. The core function of the SSP-25 cells is to serve as a model system for the study of embryonic development, stem cell biology, and other related areas of research.

Culturing Cholangiocarcinoma Cell Lines

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Human cholangiocarcinoma SSP‐25 cells and HuH‐28 cells were purchased from RIKEN Bioresource Center. SSP‐25 cells were grown in RPMI‐1640 medium supplemented with 10% FBS, and HuH‐28 cells were grown in Eagle's minimum essential medium supplemented with 10% FBS. The cells were maintained at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere containing 5% CO2.

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The human cholangiocarcinoma SSP-25 cells and HuH-28 cells were purchased from RIKEN Bioresource Center (Ibaraki, Japan) and preserved for the study in RPMI-1640 or minimum essential medium content with 10% FBS and P/S solution (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA) in 5% CO2 incubator at 37°C. Gefitinib was purchased from Selleckchem, and lovastatin was purchased from Sigma.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
