Labrasol is a non-ionic surfactant that is used as a solubilizing and emulsifying agent in the formulation of various pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. It is a polyethoxylated mono- and diglyceride of caprylic/capric acid. Labrasol is designed to improve the solubility and bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs.
