Tropisetron Inhibits A549 and H1792 Cell Proliferation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
We evaluated the effect of a representative 5‐HT3 receptor antagonist, tropisetron, on A549 and H1792. Cells were seeded at 4 × 104 per well in 12‐well plates and incubated for 24 hours. Next, 40 or 80 μmol/L (A549) and 80 μM (H1792) tropisetron hydrochloride (Tocris Bioscience) was added and cells were incubated for 72 hours (A549) and 96 hours (H1792). Cell proliferation was assayed by the Muse Cell Analyzer.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
