Endothelial Injury Markers Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To analyze the endothelial injury markers, including cardiac troponin I (cTnI; cat. no. Ab200016; Abcam, Cambridge, UK), heart-type fatty acid-binding protein (H-FABP; cat. no. CSB-E09185h; Cusabio Biotech Co., Ltd., College Park, MD, USA) and von Willebrand factor (vWF; cat. no. Ab108918; Abcam), blood samples from patients and rats were collected. Subsequently, ELISA analyses were performed according to the manufacturer's protocols.

Plasma Biomarkers in Clinical Study

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All routine lab tests were performed at the hospital’s clinical chemistry department. ELISA’s were used to measure the plasma protein concentrations for ANGPT2 (DANG20, R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN, USA), ANGPT1 (DANG10, R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN, USA), von Willebrand factor (ab108918, Abcam, Cambridge, UK), and ADAMTS13 (ab234559, Abcam, Cambridge, UK), according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Data for thrombin–antithrombin (TAT) complexes were available for some patients from a previous study [10 (link)].

GPVI-Fc-PEG Collagen Binding Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
In order to assess the capacity binding of GPVI-Fc-PEG (cat. no. ab133065; Abcam, Cambridge, UK) or vWF (cat. no. ab108918; Abcam) to collagen, commercially available ELISA kits were used. The ELISA assays were performed according to the manufacturer's instructions (25) . The result was measured at 450 nm in an ELISA reader (Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., Hercules, CA, USA) and finally converted to the affinity of GPVI-Fc-PEG for bovine and mouse collagen. Competitive affinity analysis of GPVI-Fc-PEG to collagen with vWF was also determined by competitive ELISA.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
