Chloroform solutions of L-α-phosphatidylcholine (PC, from egg), L-α-phosphatidylethanolamine (PE, transphosphatidylated (egg)), were purchased from Avanti Polar Lipids (Alabaster, AL). (Tridecafluoro-1,1,2,2-tetrahydrooctyl)dimethylchlorosilane (PFDS) was obtained from Gelest (Morrisville, PA). Anhydrous toluene was purchased from Wako Pure Chemicals.
