(Shanghai, China). Quinine sulfate was purchased from Aladdin Chemistry Co., Ltd. All the chemicals were of analytical grade and were used as received without any further purification. High-purity deionized water with a resistivity of greater than 18 MΩ cm−1 was obtained from the Millipore system and was used throughout the experiments.

Cyanobacteria Bioremediation with Metal Ions

Cyanobacteria were collected from Taihu, Wuxi, China. FeCl3 (99%). MgCl2·6H2O (98%) was purchased from Adamas-beta Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China) and Shanghai Aladdin Reagent Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China) K2CrO7 (99.8%), FeCl2·4H2O (99%), CuSO4·5H2O (99%), MnCl2·4H2O (98%), ZnSO4·7H2O (99.5%), and Hg(NO3)2·H2O (97.5%) were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China) Deionized water, purified using a Millipore water purification system, was used in all the experiments. The HAs used in this study are pH 6.57, containing –COOH, –OH, –NH, and –C–O functional groups [28 (link)].
