DI water (conductivity <1 μS/cm, room temperature) was used in all steps and all solvents were used directly from TH Geyer (Germany) without further treatment. Dopamine methylacrylate (DMA) and lithium phenyl-2,4,6-trimethylbenzoylphosphinate (LAP) were prepared using the reported method54 (link),55 (link).

Spectroscopic Characterization of 3-(2-Bromoacetyl)-2H-Chromen-2-One
