Fitc conjugated annexin 5 pi
FITC-conjugated annexin V/PI is a fluorescent labeling reagent used in flow cytometry applications. Annexin V has a high affinity for phosphatidylserine, a lipid that translocates to the outer cell membrane during apoptosis. FITC (fluorescein isothiocyanate) is covalently conjugated to annexin V, allowing for the detection of apoptotic cells. Propidium iodide (PI) is a DNA-binding dye that is used to identify necrotic or late-stage apoptotic cells. The combined use of FITC-annexin V and PI enables the discrimination of viable, early apoptotic, and late apoptotic/necrotic cell populations.

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
