Synthesis of Styrene-Butadiene Polymers

1,3-Butadiene (Bd, 1.9 M in hexane) in a ChemSeal bottle was purchased from Energy China and used as received. Styrene (St, 99%) was obtained from Macklin China. The Styrene was purified by distillation over calcium hydride with dilution to 2 M in hexane. 2,3-Butanedione (98%), benzil (98%), 2,6-dimethylaniline (99%), 2,6-diisopropylaniline (96%) and diisobutylaluminium hydride (Al(i-Bu)3, 1 M in n-hexane) were obtained from Energy China. Boron trifluoride etherate (B, 98%), trifluoroacetic acid (TFA, 99%), triphenyl phosphine (PPh3, 97%) and 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol (Antiager 264, 97%) were purchased from Macklin China and used as received. Nickel (II) naphthenate (Ni, 5 wt %) was supplied by Meryer China and diluted to 0.025 M with cyclohexane. Toluene, cyclohexane (analytically pure reagent (AR)), hexane (AR), methanol (AR), ethanol (AR) and butanone were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. and used as received.

Synthesis of Ni-Al Catalysts and Organic Compounds

Na2CO3, all supplied by Sinopharm Chemical Reagent
Co., Ltd. were used for the preparation of the NiyAlOx formulations. A Ni–Al
alloy (50:50 w/w) supplied by J&K Chemical Co., Ltd. was used
for preparing RaneyNi. FF, 4-anisaldehyde, 4-chlorobenzaldehyde, vanillin,
butyraldehyde, 1-butylamine, 2-butylamine, cyclohexanone, cyclohexylamine,
butanone, ethanolamine, aniline, benzylamine, and morpholine were
also supplied by Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. HMF, FMA, THFMA,
FAA, and THFAA were procured from Shanghai Shaoyuan Co., Ltd. Glycolaldehyde
was purchased from Ark Pharm, Inc. Dioxane, ethanol and aqueous ammonia
solution (28 wt %) were purchased from Damao Chemical Reagent Factory.
Hydrogen was obtained commercially from Lanzhou Yulong Gas Co., LTD.
All the chemicals were used as received without further purification.

Grafting PTFE Micropowder onto PET Film

Methyl methacrylate (MMA, purity: 99%), butyl acetate (purity: 99%), toluene (purity: 99.5%), butanone (purity: 99.5%), acetone (purity: 99.5%), Mohr’s salt (FeH8N2O8S2·6H2O) were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China and utilized directly without any further purification. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film and polyacrylate resin (50% solid content) were supplied by Huagong Image Technology Development Co., Ltd., Wuhan, China. Ultrapure water with a conductivity of 18.3 S/cm was used as the grafting medium.
