Spss process macro42

Manufactured by IBM

SPSS PROCESS macro42 is a statistical analysis tool designed to perform moderation and mediation analysis. It provides a framework for estimating and probing the conditional and interactive effects of multiple variables. The core function of SPSS PROCESS macro42 is to facilitate the analysis of complex relationships between variables.

Mediation and Moderated Mediation Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The data were organized and analyzed using correlation, mediation, and moderated mediation regression analysis with the help of SPSS PROCESS macro42
and SPSS AMOS version 26.0.43
Mediation analysis is an important statistical tool for gaining insight into the mechanisms of exposure-outcome effects. Mediation analysis decomposes the total exposure-outcome effect into direct and indirect effects through a mediator variable. It can be used to investigate a variable as a mediator (M) of the relationship between a predictor (X) and a criterion variable (Y). Moderated mediation tests the influence of a fourth (or more) variable on the mediated relationship between X and Y. Another variable moderates the effect of the mediator.

Exploring Mediators of Perceived Discrimination and Depression

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To examine the mediating effect of self-esteem and satisfaction with physical appearance on the perceived discrimination-depression relationship, we used SPSS 23.0 and SPSS Process Macro 4.2. First, we conducted descriptive statistics with means and standard deviation of the key variables along with analyzing gender differences using t-test. Then, we calculated Pearson’s correlation coefficients among the key variables. Finally, to test for the parallel mediating effect, the Hayes’s [47 ] suggested method of SPSS Process Macro with bootstrapping method was employed, as it provides the direct, indirect, and total effects when there are more than one mediating variables [48 ].

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
