After cells were detached from the materials by trypsin (Gibco), total RNA was extracted and reverse transcribed into cDNA with PrimeScript RT Master Mix using RNA purification kit and Reverse Transcription kit (with DNase) (EZBioscience, USA). Gene expression levels of endothelial markers of CD105 (Endoglin/ENG), and Tie-2 (TEK receptor tyrosine kinase/TEK) [23 (link)] were normalized to that of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) and quantified with the comparative Ct method.
