Sh tgf β1

Manufactured by RiboBio
Sourced in China

Sh-TGF-β1 is a laboratory product designed for scientific research purposes. It functions as a small hairpin RNA (sh-RNA) that targets the transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1) gene. This product is intended for use in cellular and molecular biology experiments to study the role of TGF-β1 in various biological processes.

Silencing TGF-β1 Expression using shRNA

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To silence the expression of TGF-β1, short hairpin RNA against TGF-β1 (sh-TGF-β1) and the negative control shRNA (sh-NC) were purchased from RiboBio, Guangzhou, China. Cells were transfected with sh-TGF-β1 (5 nM) or sh-NC (5 nM) by using Lipofectamine 3000 (Invitrogen, Waltham, MA, USA). The transfection efficacy was evaluated by quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) assay after 48 h of transfection.

miR-124 Regulates TGFβ1 and DNMT1 in Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The cells in the logarithmic phase of growth were detached with trypsin and seeded in a six-well plate, at a density of 1 × 105 cells per well. After 24 h of conventional culture, the cells were transfected with 250 μl of Lipo3000 transfection reagent (Invitrogen) at room temperature for 0 to 15 min, and the solution was changed after 16 h. The RNA content was extracted after 48 h, followed by protein extraction after 72 h. The details of experimental grouping were described in the Results. mimic-negative control (NC), miR-124 mimic, inhibitor NC, miR-124 inhibitor, sh-NC, sh-TGFβ1, oe-NC, oe-TGFβ1, sh-DNMT1, and oe-DNMT1 were all purchased from Ribobio (Guangzhou, China).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
