Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy of Redox Probes
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was performed on a CHI660A electrochemical workstation (Chenhua Instrument Co. Ltd., Shanghai, China) in a conventional three-electrode system. A modified electrode, a saturated calomel electrode (SCE) and platinum wire were employed as the working, reference, and counter electrode, respectively. EIS measurements were performed in 5 mmol L−1 K3[Fe(CN)6]/K4[Fe(CN)6] aqueous solution with 0.1 mol L−1 KCl as the supporting electrolyte, within the frequency range from 100 kHz to 0.1 Hz, and a bias potential of 0.2 V. The geometric surface area of glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was estimated to be 7 mm2, and that of CNTs/CNOs buckypapers and Fe3C/CNTs buckypapers electrodes to be 8 mm2.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
