Beyoclick edu 555 cell proliferation test kit

Manufactured by Beyotime
Sourced in China

The BeyoClick EdU-555 cell proliferation test kit is a laboratory equipment product designed for the detection and quantification of cell proliferation. The kit utilizes the incorporation of the thymidine analogue EdU (5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine) into newly synthesized DNA, providing a reliable method to measure cell division.

Cell Proliferation Assay using EdU

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
EdU was determined using the BeyoClick EdU-555 cell proliferation test kit (Beyotime, China). HCT116 and LoVo cells were transfected with miRNA mimics and inhibitors, respectively. Negative controls were inoculated into 24-well culture plates. Cells were cultured in media containing 10% FBS for 48 h and then fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Cells were incubated in 50 mM EdU solution for 2 h before staining with DAPI. Cells were stained using Hoechst solution, and their DNA content was visualized using a fluorescence microscope.

Quantifying Cell Proliferation with EdU-555 Kit

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Using the BeyoClick™ EdU-555 Cell proliferation test kit (Beyotime, China) to confirm the cell proliferation. The cells of the different treatment groups were placed in 20 mmol/L EdU for 2 h. Then, the cells were immobilized at room temperature with 4% paraformaldehyde for 15 min. After scoured with PBS, the cells were permeated with 0.3% Triton X-100, then washed with PBS and placed in Click reaction solution at 25°C in the dark for 30 min. The cells were dyed with Hoechst 33,342 for 10 min and observed with an AX-70 fluorescent microscopy (Leica Microsystems Inc.).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
