UV and IR spectra were determined on a Shimadzu UV-250 spectrometer and a Shimadzu FTIR-8400S spectrometer, respectively. LC-PDA-ESIMS data were recorded on a Waters ACQUITY SQD MS system (Waters, Milford, MA, United States) connected to a Waters 1525 HPLC with a 2998 Photodiode Array Detector (Waters, Milford, MA, United States) and a Waters SunfireTMC18 column (5 μm, 4.6 mm × 150 mm). NMR (MeOH-d4 or DMSO-d6) spectra were acquired on an AVANCE III 600 MHz NMR spectrometer equipped with Micro NMR tubes (1.4 mm). The chemical shifts (δ) were reported in ppm, and coupling constants (J) were given in Hz. The ESIMS and HRESIMS data were recorded on a Q-TOF Micro LC-MS-MS mass spectrometer. A Thermo C18 5 μm column (22 mm × 150 mm) was used for semi-preparative HPLC. A Waters 2535 HPLC fitted with a 2998 Photodiode Array Detector and a 2707 Autosampler was used for the semi-preparative separations. Silica gel (300–400 mesh, Yantai Jiangyou Silica Development, Co., Ltd., Yantai, China) were used for column chromatography. Silica gel GF254 precoated glass plates (1.00 mm, Yantai Jiangyou Silica Development, Co., Ltd., Yantai, China) were used for preparative TLC (PTLC).

Melting points were determined on a Kofler melting point apparatus and are uncorrected. Utlraviolet (UV) spectra were determined on a Shimadzu UV-250 spectrometer. 1H and 13C NMR (Carbon-13 Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) spectra were recorded on a Bruker DRX-400 spectrometer with Tetramethylsilane (TMS) as an internal standard. The chemical shifts (δ) were reported in ppm, and coupling constants (J) were given in Hz. The ESI-MS and EI-MS (Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry and Electron Impact Mass Spectrometry) data were recorded on the Quadrupole Time-of-flight (Q-TOF) Mass Spectrometry Micro Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS-MS) and Finnigan MAT-95 mass spectrometers. Semi-preparative HPLC system: Two PrepStar SD-1 solvent delivery modules, a ProStar UV-Vis 320 detector and a ProStar 701 Fraction Collector (Varian, Walnut Creek, CA, USA); a Sunfire RP-18 column (5 μm; 250 mm × 20 mm, waters) for semi-preparative isolation. The following types of silica gel were used: 300-400 mesh for column chromatography and GF254 for Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) (Qing Dao Hai Yang Chemical Group Co.). Sephadex LH 20 (GE Healthcare) was also used for column chromatography. Cell lines PC-3M, LNCaP and HEK293 were purchased from the American Type Culture Collection. Parasite strains Dd2 and 3D7 were from the Queensland Institute of Medical Research.

UV and IR spectra were determined on a Shimadzu UV-250 spectrometer (Shimadzu (China) Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China) and a Shimadzu FTIR-8400S spectrometer (Shimadzu (China) Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China), respectively. Optical rotations were measured using an Autopol IV-T automatic polarimeter (Rudolph Research Analytical, Hackettstown, NJ, USA). Circular dichroism (CD) spectra were recorded on a JASCO J-720 W spectrophotometer (JASCO China (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China). The HRESIMS data were recorded on a UHPLC System and the Q Exactive HF Mass Spectrometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA). A Thermo 70105-159070 Betasil C18 column (5 μm, 10 mm × 150 mm, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA) was used for semipreparative HPLC. A Waters 2535 HPLC fitted with a 2998 Photodiode Array Detector and a 2707 Autosampler (Waters, Milford, MA, USA) was used for the semipreparative separations. All the solvents used for chromatography were of HPLC-grade and all the other chemicals were of analytical reagent grade. HPLC-grade acetonitrile was purchased from Merck Chemical Company (Darmstadt, Germany). Silica gel (300–400 mesh) was used for medium-pressure column chromatography and GF254 for TLC (Qingdao HaiYang Chemical Group Co., Qingdao, China). Sephadex LH-20 (Amersham Pharmacia Biotech Co., Piscataway, NJ, USA) was also used for column chromatography.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
