Control HEK-293 cells, single gene-overexpressing or knockdown cells or three gene co-overexpressing cells in the exponential growth phase were seeded into 6-well plates at 2.6 × 105 cells per ml in 3 ml per well. The levels of Albumin, ApoB, Alpha 1-acid glycoprotein 2, alpha-1-antitrypsin, haptoglobin and Apo AI were determined using Biochemical Analyser (Roche, Cobas Integra). The assays for Thymosin beta 4 (Shanghai Bluegene Biotech Co, China) and vitronectin (Takara Bio Inc. Shiga, Japan) were also performed by ELISA based assays provided by the manufracturer.
