Anti vimentin antibody v9

Manufactured by Merck Group

Anti-vimentin antibody V9 is a laboratory reagent used for the detection and analysis of vimentin, an intermediate filament protein found in various cell types. This antibody can be utilized in various immunoassay techniques, such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry, to identify and quantify the presence of vimentin in biological samples.

Recombinant Vimentin Purification and Validation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Purified recombinant human vimentin was purchased from SinoBiological (Wayne, PA). Human fibrinogen from Calbiochem (Gibbstown, NJ), and thrombin from Sigma (St. Louis, MO). Sheep anti-Vimentin antibody was obtained from Affinity Biologicals (Ancaster, Canada), and the rabbit anti-Vimentin antibody was purchased from Proteintech (Rosemont, IL). This rabbit anti-Vimentin antibody was validated by testing its reactivity to purified recombinant vimentin and plasma vimentin by ELISA and western blot. Anti-vimentin antibody V9 and isotype immunoglobulins (IgGs) were purchased from Sigma. recombinant human vimentin rod-domain (rhRod) was expressed and purified as described29 (link)

Modified Brass Comb Burn Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The brass comb used in this study was a modified version of the Regas and Ehrlich11 (link) model and was used previously in our rat studies19 (link). The modified mold produces three 10 × 19 mm rectangles of burn sites separated by two 10 × 19 mm rectangles of unburned interspaces.
Hematoxylin phloxin saffron (HPS) kits (cat. #k023) for HPS staining were purchased from Poly Scientific R&D Corp. (Bay Shore, NY). Mouse monoclonal anti-vimentin antibody (V9) was obtained from Sigma (cat#347 M-18, Cell Marque, St Louis, MO).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
