Nadph standard

Manufactured by Abcam

NADPH standard is a chemical compound used as a reference material in various biochemical and analytical applications. It serves as a standard for the accurate quantification of NADPH (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate), an important cofactor involved in numerous cellular processes.

Quantifying Cellular NADP/NADPH Levels

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The total cellular NADP+ and NADPH levels were determined by an NADP/NADPH quantitation colorimetric assay kit with an NADPH standard (BioVision Inc., San Francisco, CA) and normalized by the total protein of each sample. To determine the NADPH/NADP+ ratio, an NADP/NADPH-Glo assay kit (Promega, Madison, WI) was also used, following the manufacturers’ protocol. The relative NADPH/NADP+ ratio was normalized by that of control cells (or treatment control) under matrix-attached condition.

Quantifying NADP+, NADPH, and ATP

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
NADP+ and NADPH were also quantified using the NADP/NAPDH quantitation colorimetric assays with a NADPH standard (BioVision, Inc, San Francisco, CA) and normalized by protein concentration. The NADP/NADPH ratio was measured by a NADP/NADPH-Glo™ assays kit (Promega, Madison, WI), following the manufacturers’ protocol, and the relative NADPH/NADP+ ratio is normalized by that of control cells (or treatment control) under matrix-attached condition. ATP levels were detected by an ATP colorimetric assays kit (Abcam) and normalized by protein concentration, and the relative ATP levels is normalized by that of control cells (or treatment control) under matrix-attached condition.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
