To improve visualization, when indicated, printing materials were supplemented with 1 μm blue (fluorescent when exited at ~620 nm) or red polystyrene microparticles (Sigma-Aldrich) or with lipid nanoparticles encapsulating Cy3 or Cy5 molecules (a kind gift from Prof. Dan Peer, Tel Aviv University). For generation of a cell-containing bioink, NIH/3T3 mouse fibroblasts were mixed with NPCH to a final concentration of 5× 106 cells ml-1.
