Functional Brain Imaging Preprocessing

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
SPM12 (Statistical Parametric Mapping, The Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging, UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, United Kingdom) was used for data preprocessing (Matlab 9.3 R2017b, The Mathworks Inc., United States). Default settings were used if not stated otherwise. Functional images were co-registered with the structural high-resolution scan and normalized (warped) into Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI)-space and resampled to a voxel size of 3 × 3 × 3 mm3 before smoothing using a Gaussian kernel (smoothing width set to 6 mm). The series of ready-pre-processed fMRI NIfTI-files for each individual and visit was then used as input for the statistical analysis as described below. A detailed list of the preprocessing steps can be found in the Supplementary Information.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
