After treatments, HeLa cells, GPx8 -- silenced HeLa cells and controls were lysed by 0. For ERK1/2 detection, the blotting probed with P--ERK was stripped and re--probed with antibodies against ERK1/2 (Santa Cruz Biotechnology). Immunoreactive bands were detected using appropriate secondary antibodies conjugated to HRP (Santa Cruz Biotechnology) followed by chemiluminescence detection on a Kodak Image station.
