Tributyrin (TC4, 99%), Tricaprylin (TC8, 99%), Triolein (TC18, 99%), 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DOPC, ≥97%), l-α-phosphatidylinositol (PI, ≥99%), 1,2-diacyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-l-serine (PS, ≥97%), l-α-phosphatidylethanolamine (PE, ≥99%), cardiolipin (CL, ≥98%), 3-sn-Phosphatidic acid sodium salt (PA, ≥98%), Sphingomyelin (SM, ≥98%), 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-rac-(1-glycerol) sodium salt (PG, ≥98%), 1,2-distearoyimonoglactosylglyceride (MGDG, ≥98%) were all from Sigma-Aldrich Corporation (St. Louis, MO, USA). Olive oil and sucrose esters were purchased from Aladdin Reagent Co. (Shanghai, China). Six pure chiral pseudoglycerides (didecanoyl-deoxyamino-O-methyl glycerol, DDGs) used in the present studies were synthesized according to the method reported before [23 (link)].

Quantification of Voriconazole and Metabolite

Voriconazole (VOR) was purchased from Hangzhou Dayangchem Co., Limited (Hangzhou, China). and voriconazole-N-oxide (VNO) was purchased from Genone Biotechnologies (Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil) Alpha-tocopherol and Sabouraud’s dextrose agar were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Acetonitrile was purchased from J. T. Baker (Phillipsburg, NJ, USA). Water was purified using a Milli-Q system (Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA) with a 0.22 µm pore end-filter. All other chemicals and reagents were of analytical grade or superior.

Enzyme Isolation and Lipid Preparation

Immobilized Phospholipase A1 Catalysis

Phospholipase A 1 (PLA 1 ) Lecitase ® Ultra, a kind donation by NOVO (Salem, VA) , was immobilized on Duolite A568, a gift from Rohm & Haas (Philadelphia, PA) , according to the method described previously 26) . Soybean phosphatidylcholine (PC, 95%) , was obtained from Avanti Polar Lipids, Inc. (Alabaster, AL) , and HPLC standards of dioctanoyl-L-α-phosphatidylcholine (99%) and L-α-Lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC, 98%) , were purchased from SIGMA-AL-DRICH ® (México City) . A mixture of free medium chain fatty acid (MCFA) , composed of caproic-C6:0 (1.65 mol%) , caprylic-C8:0 (67.14 mol%) , capric-C10:0 (30.57 mol%) , and lauric-C12:0 (0.64 mol%) acids, was obtained by saponifying medium chain oil (Original Thin Oil ® ) purchased from Sound Nutrition (Dover, ID) , according to the method described previously 32) . HPLC grade solvents were purchased from Tecsiquim (Mexico City) and all other reagents used were of analytical grade from SIGMA-ALDRICH ® (Mexico City) .
