Rna sequencer hiseq 2000

Manufactured by Illumina

The Illumina HiSeq 2000 is a high-throughput DNA sequencing system designed for large-scale genomic studies. It utilizes reversible terminator-based sequencing technology to generate billions of sequencing reads per run, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including whole-genome sequencing, transcriptome analysis, and metagenomics.

Endometrial Tumor Gene Expression Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Gene expression data were downloaded from TCGA data repository as level 3 RNA sequence data [4 (link)] created by Illumina RNA Sequencer HiSeq 2000 platforms (Illumina Inc) and annotated with the HG-19 version of the human genome. Normalized and log-transformed gene expression data from these endometrial tumors were available for analysis. Analyses were performed with R statistical packages (R Foundation) for statistical computing and graphics [24 ] and bioconductor packages as open-source software for bioinformatics [25 (link)]. For the front end, we used Biometric Research Branch Array Tools, an integrated package for visualization and statistical analysis that uses Excel (Microsoft Corp) [26 (link)].

TCGA Endometrial Cancer RNA-Seq Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Normalized and log-transformed gene expression data from the TCGA EC database were downloaded as level 3 RNA-sequenced data. As previously described, data were collected by Illumina RNA sequencer HiSeq 2000 platforms and annotated with the hg19 version of the human genome.
Gene expression analyses were performed with R statistical packages for computing and graphics (The R Foundation) [27 ] and the Bioconductor open-source bioinformatics software package [28 (link)].

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
