MALDI-TOF Protein Analysis Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
One to two microliters of the sample aliquots was mixed with 0.5 μl of matrix mix (Sigma-Aldrich) on a steel target. The mass spectra were recorded on an UltrafleXtreme MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometer (Bruker Daltonics) equipped with a neodymium laser. The molecular MH+ ions were measured in reflector mode; the accuracy of the measured results was within 0.1 Da.

Sample aliquots were combined with the matrix mix (Sigma-Aldrich) on a steel target. The mass spectra were recorded on an UltrafleXtreme MALDI-tandem time of flight (TOF/TOF) mass spectrometer (Bruker Daltonics) equipped with a neodymium laser. The molecular MH+ ions were measured in reflector mode; the accuracy of the measured results was within 0.1 Da.

High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry of Biomolecules

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
High resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) analysis. Q-TOF Maxis Impact II (Bruker Daltonics) mass-spectrometer with electrospray ionization was used for sample analysis. Lyophilized HPLC fractions from biochemical reactions were dissolved in 0.1% formic acid in deionized water and introduced directly to the instrument using the syringe pump.
The spectra were recorded in a positive ion mode in a range from 100 m/z to 750 m/z. The temperature of ion source was 200 ºC, pressure of carrier gas 2.5 bar, the gas flow 5 ml/min, the voltage at the capillary 4 kV. The fragmentation spectra were recorded in AutoMS mode.
Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Time of Flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
