Genomic DNA Extraction and Sequencing of L. dealbatus

Fresh leaf samples of L. dealbatus were collected from Shillong, Meghalaya and stored immediately in liquid nitrogen. DNA extraction was performed using DNeasy Plant Pro and Plant Kits (Qiagen) from the stored leaf samples. The quality of the extracted genomic DNA was determined in 0.8% agarose gel and further quantified through NanoDrop™ One/OneC Micro volume UV-Vis Spectrophotometer (Thermofischer, Waltham, MA, USA).
