Syngo user interface

Manufactured by Siemens
Sourced in Germany

Syngo User Interface is a clinical imaging software platform developed by Siemens Healthineers. It provides a unified user interface and workflow management for various medical imaging modalities, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography (PET). The software is designed to streamline the imaging workflow and enhance the efficiency of medical professionals in their diagnostic and treatment planning processes.

Abdominal Fat Assessment Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Body weight and height were measured and used to calculate body mass index (BMI) (kg.m−2). Waist circumference was measured at the midpoint between the lower border of the rib cage and the iliac crest. Quadrupedal bioelectric impedance was used to evaluate total fat and to estimate lean body mass (Omron BF511, Omron, Japan).
Abdominal fat distribution was measured by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using gradient recalled echo (GRE) sequence, TR: 134ms, TE: 2.38/5.24ms on 1.5 T Magnetom Symphony MRI scanner (Siemens, Germany). The area of visceral and subcutaneous abdominal adipose tissue depots was evaluated semi/automatically using the Siemens Syngo User interface (Siemens, Germany) by averaging the area of 5 consecutive slices (1 cm apart) centred between the L4 and L5 vertebrae.

PET/CT Imaging for Axillary Lymph Node Assessment

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
PET, CT, and fused images were displayed on a Siemens/Syngo user interface. The images were interpreted by a consensus of two experienced nuclear medicine physicians, who were blinded to the histological diagnosis and other imaging results. It was de ned as visually positive that the radioactive uptake of the ALN was higher than that of the surrounding normal tissue. The maximum standardized uptake value (SUV max ) and the mean standardized uptake value (SUV mean ) were semi-quantitatively measured by drawing regions of interest over the ALN. The SUV max ratio of the ALN on the same side of the breast lesion to the node on the opposite side was calculated as T/NT (target/non-target).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
