Characterization of Insulin Signaling Cascade

The mouse anti-ICA512 mAb has been previously described in Ref. [25] . The following reagents were from commercial sources: Rapamycin and LY294002 (Cell Signaling Technology), the eIF4E/eIF4G interaction inhibitor (Calbiochem), m7GpppG cap-analog (New England Biolabs), m7GTP-Sepharose (GE Healthcare) and Dynabeads M270 streptavidin (Invitrogen), reagents for luciferase assay (Promega), 35S-methionine (Hartmann-Analytics), pro-/insulin ELISA (Mercodia) and insulin RIA (Millipore).
