Recombinant plasmids

Manufactured by GenScript
Sourced in China, United States

Recombinant plasmids are circular DNA molecules that have been engineered to carry specific genetic sequences. They serve as important tools in molecular biology and genetic engineering, enabling the cloning and expression of genes of interest.

Recombinant DENV-2 and ZIKV NS1 Expression

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Recombinant plasmids (GenScript, USA), derived from pET-28a, encoding the full sequence of DENV-2 strain NGC (GenBank reference number M29095) and ZIKV NS1 based on the Brazilian strain (GenBank reference number ALU33341) were introduced into chemically competent E. coli BL21-Codon Plus (DE3)-RIL strain (Stratagene, USA). The plasmid encoding the ZIKV ΔNS1 carries the genetic sequence corresponding to the last 100 amino acids of the C-terminal region of ZIKV NS1 (patent application number: BR 10 2016 011318 0). The plasmid encoding DENV-2 NS1 was previously reported (Amorim et al. 2010 (link)). Recombinant expression plasmids encoding the ΔNS1 were introduced in E. coli Arctic Express (DE3) (Agilent) and BL21 (DE3) (Invitrogen) strains.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
