FA (CAS Number: 24211-30-1, Figure 1) was purchased from Chemfaces (Wuhan, China). Roswell Park Memorial Institute medium-1640 (RPMI-1640), Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium-high glucose (DMEM-H), and fetal bovine serum (FBS) were obtained from Gibco Life Technologies (Grand Island, NY, USA). Moreover, 3-[4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) was purchased from Amresco (Solon, OH, USA). Antibodies against CDK1, CDK2, CDK4, Cyclin A, Cyclin B, Cyclin D, Cyclin E, Caspase-3, PARP, p38, p-p38, ERK, p-ERK, JNK, p-JNK, PGC1α, UCP-1, PPARγ, and β-actin were purchased from Cell Signaling Technology (Beverly, MA, USA) and Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Santa Cruz, CA, USA).

Diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA), manganese chloride tetrahydrate (MnCl₂•4H₂O), ethylenediamine and acetone were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagents Co. Ltd. (Shanghai, China). Magnevist (Gd-DTPA) was obtained from Bayer Schering Pharma AG (Berlin, Germany). Concentrated nitric acid was received from Zhongtai Chemical Reagents Co. Ltd. (Shanghai, China). Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide (MTT) was received from Sigma-Aldrich Co. (St. Louis, MO, USA). Anti-HE4 monoclonal antibody was supplied by the Abcam (Shanghai) Trading Ltd. Roswell Park Memorial Institute 1640 Medium (RPMI-1640), fetal bovine serum (FBS), PBS buffer, EDTA-trypsin, and penicillin/streptomycin were purchased from Gibco BRL (MD, USA). All other chemicals were used in this study were analytical grade.

Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM), Roswell Park Memorial Institute 1640 medium (RPMI 1640), fetal bovine serum (FBS), penicillin–streptomycin, and glutamine were purchased from Gibco (Thermo Fisher, Germany). Trypsin-EDTA solution, adenosine, inosine, AMP, ADP, and ATP, the A2b (alloxazine) and A3 adenosine receptors (VUF5574), and caffeine, a non-selective adenosine antagonist, were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Germany). The antagonists for A1 (DPCPX) and A2a (SCH-58261) adenosine receptors were purchased from Tocris, UK.

LSF was prepared according to our previous method [19 (link),20 (link)]. HPLC-grade acetonitrile and methanol, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), and Aβ(1-42) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Roswell Park Memorial Institute 1640 medium (RPMI 1640) was obtained from Gibco (Grand Island, NY, USA). Fetal bovine serum (FBS), RT-PCR kit, and PCR kit were purchased from TransGen Biotech Inc. (Beijing, China). The Wright–Giemsa stain kit was purchased from Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute (Nanjing, China). Primary antibodies such as TNF-α, IL-1β, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B (NF-κB), inhibitor of NF-κB alpha (IκBα), phosphorylate-IκBα (p-IκBα), poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP), cleaved-PARP, Bax, Bcl-2, and β-actin were obtained from Cell Signaling Technology (CST) (Beverly, MA, USA). Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 were purchased from Beijing Cheng Lin Biological Technology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China).

Chemicals for the phenolic classes determination (Folin–Ciocalteu reagent and Na₂CO₃ for phenolic compounds, HCl, NaNO₂, and Na₂MoO₄ for ortho-diphenols, AlCl₃∙6H₂O for flavonoids, and cinchonine hemisulfate for tannins), HPLC standards, foetal bovine serum (FBS), penicillin/streptomycin, l-glutamine, 0.25% trypsin-EDTA, dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), phosphate-buffed saline, and 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich Co. (Milano, Italy). Methanol, acetic acid, and acetonitrile for HPLC analyses were from Carlo Erba Reagents (Cornaredo, Milano, Italy). Rosewell Park Memorial Institute 1640 medium (RPMI 1640), Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), and Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium/Nurient Mixture F12 (DMEM-F12) growth medium were obtained from Gibco by Life Technologies (Grand Island, NY, USA). All other chemicals were reagent grade and were obtained from commercial sources.

The materials 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), 2,2′-azino-bis (ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS), 3-(2-yyridyl)-5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-4′,4′′-disulfonic acid sodium salt (ferrozine), iron (II) chloride tetrahydrate (FeCl₂ · 4H₂O), 6-hydroxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchroman-2-carboxylic acid (Trolox), ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), sulforhodamine B (SRB), D-glucose monohydrate, diclofenac sodium, lipopolysaccharide (LPS), arbutin, theophylline were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Roswell Park Memorial Institute 1640 medium (RPMI-1640), Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM), Eagle’s Minimal Essential Medium (MEM), fetal bovine serum (FBS), 0.5% Trypsin-EDTA (10X), and 3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine (IBMX) were obtained from Gibco Life Technologies (Grand Island, NY, USA). Penicillin/streptomycin solution (100×) was obtained from Capricorn Scientific GmbH (Ebsdorfergrund, Germany). The Griess reagent kit was acquired from Invitrogen, Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA, USA). Finasteride and dutasteride were purchased from Wuhan W&Z Biotech (Wuhan, China). RedSafe™ dye was obtained from iNtRON Biotechnology (Gyeonggido, Korea). All other chemical substances were of analytical grade.
