Las software program

Manufactured by Leica
Sourced in Germany

The LAS software program is a comprehensive digital imaging and analysis solution for microscopy applications. It serves as the control interface for Leica's range of microscope systems, enabling users to capture, process, and analyze high-quality digital images. The software provides essential tools for image acquisition, image processing, and data management, supporting a wide variety of microscopy techniques and applications.

Tissue Histology Processing and Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Tissue samples were collected and rinsed with sterile saline. After being xed in 10% neutral buffered formaldehyde for 72 hours, tissues were embedded in para n. Sections of 4 µm thickness were obtained from para n blocks on slides by using a microtome (Leica SM 2000, Germany). The sections were depara nized using xylene and rehydrated using a graded ethanol series. The rehydrated sections were then stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E), viewed under a computerized photo-light microscope (Leica DM4000B, Germany) and and LAS software program (Leica), coded for blind examination.

Histological Analysis of Epididymis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Epididymis tissue samples were fixed in 10% neutral formaldehyde for seventy-two hours. After washing in tap water, the samples were dehydrated through ascending alcohols and cleared in xylene, then embedded in paraffin. Hematoxylin-Eosin was performed on 4 μm thick sections. The histomorphological changes were evaluated in epididymis using a photographic light microscope (DM4000B Image Analyze System; Leica, Wetzlar, Germany), a Leica DFC280 plus camera and an LAS software program (Leica).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
