L-Glutamine (Glutamax 100x) was purchased from Invitrogen corp., (Carlsbad, CA, United States). Penicillin-G and streptomycin were obtained from Amresco (Solon, OH, United States). Filters (Millex GV. 0.22 µm) were purchased from Millipore Pvt. Ltd., (Billerica, MA, United States). All other reagents were of analytical grade.
