Plasma Lipid Measurement Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Plasma lipids were measured enzymatically on a Hitachi 917 system (Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Mannheim, Germany) using the triacylglycerol (GPO-PAP) and cholesterol kit (CHOD-PAP) from Roche Diagnostics, and the phospholipids FS kit and NEFA FS kit from DiaSys (Diagnostic Systems GmbH, Holzheim, Germany), as previously described [23 (link)].

Plasma Lipid and Hormone Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Plasma lipids were measured enzymatically on a Hitachi 917 system (Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Mannheim, Germany) using the triacylglycerol (GPO-PAP) and cholesterol kit (CHOD-PAP) from Roche Diagnostics, the free fatty acid (FFA) kit from DiaSys Diagnostic Systems GmbH (Holzheim, Germany), and the phospholipid kit from bioMerieux SA (Marcy l'Etoile, France). The plasma glucose (gluco-quant -glucose/HK) level was also determined enzymatically on the Hitachi 917 system. Salmon plasma leptin hormone levels was measured using Fish (salmon) leptin (LEP) ELISA kit (Cusabio, Hubei Province, China) following the manufacturer's protocol. Absorbance was measured at 450 nm in a Spectrostar Nano microplate reader from BMG LabTech GmbH (Ortenberg, Germany).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
