Assay kits for serum uric acid (UA), serum creatinine (SCr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), xanthine oxidase (XOD), and adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity were obtained from Elabscience Biotechnology Co., Ltd (Wuhan, China). CaO2 nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized based on a previously reported method [33] .
