3.0 t magnetom verio mri system

Manufactured by Siemens
Sourced in Germany

The 3.0 T Magnetom Verio MRI system is a high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system designed and manufactured by Siemens. It operates at a static magnetic field strength of 3.0 Tesla, which provides enhanced image quality and resolution compared to lower field strength systems. The Magnetom Verio is a whole-body MRI system capable of performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.

Multimodal MRI Acquisition Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The Siemens 3.0 T Magnetom Verio MRI system (Siemens Medical, Erlangen, Germany) with a 32-channel head coil will be used to obtain MRI data at the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine (Changchun, China). To avoid head movement, foam pads will be used to fix the participants’ heads. The fMRI data will be acquired with a single-shot gradient recalled echo planar imaging sequence with the following parameters: repetition time (TR)/echo time (TE) =3000 ms/30 ms, flip angle = 85, field of view (FOV) = 220 mm × 220 mm and slice thickness = 3 mm. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) data will be acquired with 3D multivoxel proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy with the following parameters: repetition time (TR)/echo time (TE) =1750 ms/144 ms, slice thickness = 5 mm and repeat time = 128.

fMRI Investigation of rESWT Pain Relief

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The Siemens 3.0 T Magnetom Verio MRI system (Siemens Medical, Erlangen, Germany) with 32-channel head coil will be used to obtain MRI data on pain relief after rESWT treatment at the Department of Radiology, Zhongshan-Xuhui Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai, China. To avoid head movement, foam pads will be used to fix the participants’ heads. The fMRI data will be acquired with a single-shot gradient recalled echo planar imaging sequence with the following parameters: repetition time (TR)/echo time (TE) = 2530 ms/2.98 ms, flip angle = 7, field of view (FOV) = 256 mm × 256 mm and slice thickness = 1 mm. To obtain the resting fMRI data, a whole-brain blood oxygenation level-dependent (BOLD) pulse sequence (TR/TE = 2000/30 ms, flip angle = 90, FOV = 192 mm × 192 mm, voxel size = 3.0 × 3.0 × 5.0 mm, slice thickness = 1 mm and 28 slices) will be used.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
