Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), gelatin, trypsin-EDTA, and penicillin-streptomycin were provided from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). The bicinchoninic acid (BCA), protein assay kit, was produced by Pierce Co. (Pierce, Rockford, IL, USA). Fetal bovine serum (FBS) and High Glucose-Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) were obtained from Gibco (Grand Island, NY, USA).
