Quantitative HPLC Analysis of Compounds

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
HPLC analyses were carried out on an Agilent 1260 system equipped with a YMC-Pack ODS-A column (250 × 4.6 mm, i.d., 5 μm) at 35 °C. The gradient elution mode with acetonitrile-water containing 2% acetic acid as follows: Acetonitrile: 0–10 min, 6%–6%; 10–20 min, 6%–10%; 20–45 min, 10%–20%; 45–80 min, 20%–35%. The effluent was monitored at 254 nm, and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.

Analytical Determination of Riboflavin

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cell growth was monitored by measuring optical density at 600 nm (OD600) with UV–Vis spectrophotometer. For riboflavin measurement, samples were first diluted with 0.05 M NaOH and centrifuged at 16 000 × g for 2 min to remove the cells, the samples were then subjected to HPLC analysis using a Agilent 1260 system equipped with a YMC polymer C18 Column (4.6 × 250 mm) and riboflavin was detected by UV 370 nm (Wang et al., 2019). Separation was performed at the following conditions: 60% H2O, 10% methanol, 20% acetonitrile and 10% phosphoric acid (2 mM) with a constant flow rate of 1 ml min−1.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
