The compounds Isonicotinic Acid Hydrazide (Isoniazid, INH), Rifampicin (RIF), Ethambutol Dihydrochloride (ETB), Pyrazinoic Acid Amide (Pyrazinamide, PZA) were purchased from Sigma. All compounds, except Pyrazinamide, which was made up in media, were made up in DMSO (Sigma). Final DMSO concentration was adjusted and used at 0.1% in all test conditions.

The chemicals in this study were reagent grade and were used as received without purification. Ferrous chloride tetrahydrate (FeCl2·4H2O), ferric chloride hexahydrate (FeCl3·6H2O), and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) were purchased from Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany). Chitosan, deacetylated at 75%–85%, sodium amp salt (>98% purity; molecular weight 371.4 g/mol), 4-amino salicylic acid, isonicotinic acid hydrazide, and pyrazinamide were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich Co. (St Louis, MO, USA). Acetic acid (99.8%) was purchased from Hamburg Industries (Hamburg, Germany). Deionized water was used in each experiment.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
