Carbopol 934p

Curcumin was obtained as a gift sample from Konark Herbal and Health Care, Mumbai, India. The reagents including ethyl cellulose were obtained from High Purity Laboratory Chemicals, Mumbai. Polyvinyl alcohol, dichloromethane, methanol, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, triethanolamine, Polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, carbopol 934P and N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone were procured from SD Fine-Chem. Limited, Mumbai. Potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate anhydrous (monobasic), starch and acacia were obtained from Central Drug House (CDH, India). Disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate (Na₂HPO₄·2H₂O) and sodium lauryl sulfate were provided by Hi-Media lab. Pvt. Ltd. All other chemicals were of reagent grades and used as procured.

Unicure Pvt. Limited (Noida, India) provided CIP. The cholesterol (CHO), Span 60, and sodium deoxycholate (SDC) were procured from SD Fine Chemicals (Mumbai, India). Acetonitrile, chloroform, methanol, and dialysis bag (MWCO 12kDa) were procured from Sigma Aldrich (Bengaluru, India). Carbopol 934P, Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose K100 M (HPMC-K100M), Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), Calcium chloride (CaCl₂), Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO₃), and Sodium Chloride (NaCl) were procured from SD fine Chem Limited (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India). Fluid thioglycolate and soya bean casein digest media were obtained from HiMedia (Mumbai, India). The other chemicals utilized in this research are analytical grade.
