Elisa kit for pge2

Manufactured by Enzo Life Sciences
Sourced in United States

The ELISA kit for PGE2 from Enzo Life Sciences is a quantitative assay designed to measure the concentration of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in biological samples. The kit utilizes the competitive enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) technique to determine the PGE2 levels.

ELISA for Prostaglandin Quantification

Cell supernatants were harvested and PG concentrations were quantified using an ELISA kit for PGE2 (Enzo Life Sciences), according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This item is sold as a PGE2-specific ELISA kit, however, our data indicated that other COX-derived oxylipins were also likely to be detected with this kit. Therefore we refer to results obtained using this ELISA kit as measuring PGs instead of PGE2.

Profiling Inflammatory Markers in UTI Patients

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The human subject samples were collected as part of approved Institutional Review Board protocols (STU 082010‐016, MR 17‐120). Patient samples were collected during their visit to UTSW Medical Center and written consent was obtained before sample collection and participation in the study. As a proof of concept, three postmenopausal female subjects with active, symptomatic UTIs as diagnosed by clinical urine culture were studied. ELISA kit for PGE2 was purchased from Enzo Life Sciences Inc. (Farmingdale, NY, USA), IL‐6 was purchased from Abcam (Cambridge, MA, USA), and that for CRP was purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Clean‐catch urine collected from these patients was aliquoted and stored at −20 C and was retrieved later for analysis. Postanalysis was done by using the calibration dose–response curves for both methods described in the previous sections. Graphics were drawn using Biorender.comand Inkscape v1.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
