Vybrant™ DiO green fluorescent dye is a lipophilic carbocyanine dye that can be used to stain cell membranes. It has an excitation maximum at 484 nm and an emission maximum at 501 nm, allowing it to be detected using standard green fluorescent protein (GFP) filter sets.
