Comprehensive Immunoblotting of Liver Proteins

Liver tissue was lysed in PBS containing 1% Triton X-100 lysis buffer, protease inhibitors cocktail and PhosSTOP (Roche). Equal amounts of the total protein were separated by sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane, after blocking probed with specific primary and secondary antibodies.
