(Bagsvaerd, Denmark) and its lipase activity was 275 Interesterase Units Novo (IUN)/g. Furthermore, the (+)-catechin hydrate (Green tea, purity ≥ 98%) was obtained from Xi’an Entaiyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Xi’an, Shaanxi, China). All the reagents were of analytical grade without purification.

Lipase-catalyzed Stereoselective Reactions

Lipozyme®TL (TLL-IM), Lipozyme®435 (L435), Lipozyme®RM (RML-IM) and LipuraSelect (LS-IM) were kindly donated by Novozymes Spain (Madrid, Spain). Triacetin, (R)- and (S)-methyl mandelate, zinc chloride (ZnCl2), copper chloride (CuCl2), cobalt chloride (CoCl2), sodium chloride (NaCl) and acetonitrile for HPLC (gradient grade, ≥99.9%) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). All other reagents were of analytical grade.

Enzymatic Production of Rice Bran Oil
